Vanilla Cake




Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add other ingredients slowly and mix thoroughly. Do not over-mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 mins for an 8” cake tin OR 10-12 mins for muffins. Do a toothpick test to make sure its done.

Keep cream cheese and butter out of the fridge for 5-6 hours so that they are soft and are at room temperature.

Put cream cheese and butter in a bowl and mix them with electric mixer for 2-3 mins. Add sugar slowly and keep mixing for another 1-2 mins. Add vanilla at the end and mix. If the consistency looks too thick for spreading, add some milk.

I made 2 such cakes and stacked them after putting a layer of frosting in between.
