Sunday Mangal-Aarti Program

Begins Sunday, February 1st
The first and foremost arati of the day, mangala-arati, is performed during the auspicious time period of Brahma-muhurta. Any devotional activities performed during this time are greatly enhanced in terms of their spiritual potency and acquired benefits. The morning program that follows the Mangala aarti further provides a heightened spiritual uplift to all attendees as they chant the Maha mantra together, perform worship to Tulsi devi and Srila Prabhupada and listen to Srimad Bhagavatam. We encourage everyone to take part in this program and be benefitted spiritually.

5:00 am - Mangal arati and Nrisimadeva Prayers
5:30 am - Tulsi Puja, Siksastakam, Japa
7:30 am - Greeting of the Deities, Srila Prabhupada Guru-puja
8:00 - 9:00 am - Srimad Bhagavatam Class

Special visit of the Temple of Vedic Planetarium team from Sridham Mayapur
Apr 25th 5:30 p.m.

Please join us for a very special program this Saturday, April 25th with the Temple of Vedic Planetarium team from Sridham Mayapur. The team includes HG Jananivas prabhu, who is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, and has been the head pujari in Mayapur dham since 1972. He is respected in Mayapur and throughout the world for his saintly character. He is bringing with him the Holy Paduka (shoes) of Lord Nityananda and the Satari (helmet) of Lord Nrsimhadeva, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Srila Prabhupada’s arrival in North America.

It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have the holy padukas and satari from Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple placed on our heads by HG Jananivas prabhu and to listen to the ToVP presentation. ToVP is a landmark spiritual project of universal significance. It will showcase the structure of the universe as explained in Srimad Bhagavatam and will have far reaching influence on many lives. Please visit the website www.tovp.org for more details.
